Hey, I'm Noah Buchanan! I'm a computer science student at the Georgia Institute of Technology! Go Jackets!
For as long as I can remember, I've had random hobbies that I couldn't help but pour myself into. From yo-yos, to card tricks, to video editing and vfx: whenever I'm interested in something, I can't help but spend all my time on it.
As I've "grown," some have interests left, but I've noticed some stick around longer than others. Aside from my faith in Christ, which I hope is my #1 priority, right now it's all about coding, guitar, and running.
I only recently learned why I get so consumed by my passions. I realized all my efforts to learn are just attempts to try to satisfy an insatiable curiosity I have for understanding. The result of every project I take on is just a bonus to the understanding I gained.

May 22, 2024. High School Graduation. Abi (my twin sister) and I posing! I didn't realize how special high school was until it was over.

March 15, 2024. My first ever band after performing "The Rumbling" from Attack On Titan at the talent show. We put a lot of hard work into it, and it paid off. Top 10 moments of my life. Youtube video on my channel "Noah Buchanan!"

April 1, 2023. My friend Roderick and I at Georgia State Science Fair. My project was my educational Django webapp, mainly so that I could be forced to learn Django with a deadline. I received 5th place honors.
September 20, 2023. My friend Roderick and I, again, wrapping up our lesson at Roderick's monthly 4H RECS club. He invited me to teach this months lesson, I was honored.
October 29, 2023. Magnet's annual MonsterDash 5k! Savoring the moment with all my friends and my brother, I'm going to really miss High School. Thanks for taking great pictures Jairus!! Colin won, I got 2nd, and James came 3rd, but he really beat me because he was more mature...we have states next week!
May 19, 2023. A camping trip I went on with some friends for a birthday. I've been wanting to go backpacking for a long time so this was the next closest thing. A really, really fun night. Thanks for the invite Drew!
February 21, 2022. A trip to Maryland to see my grandma, and we also stopped by D.C. Great sights.

October 14, 2023. Homecoming, and uh...I got a date this time. Sorry boys. One of the most fun nights I've ever been blessed to share.
November 11, 2023. Magnet Fall Ball, again. Getting some quality advice from my great friend since kindergarten, Alan. We did the senior boy dance tradition- what Alan did was unbelievable. Great night with my friends, it's fictional that we're about to graduate.
Love this instrument, it's a miracle I play it. Left guitar belongs to my friend, Jairus. The middle one was handed to me by a sister who got it for Christmas but never played it. The red one was given to me graciously by Mr. Danny, who passed away recently, I treasure this guitar.
August 5, 2023. My friend Colin and I doing an 8miler (Long Run). I'm really lucky I have someone who is down to run if I just say the word. Makes the sport a lot easier.
October 22, 2022. Cross Country regional race, potentially the last race of my junior year. Against all odds, I went from a 21:16 the race before, to a 19:15. I shattered 20, a long time dream of mine. We managed to get 2nd place as a team!
August 19, 2023. End of my season opener race. Ran 19:02 and got 1st on my team and 11th overall. A 13s PR, but I was expecting more after summer training and a 9:50 3k this August. But we move. (My PR as of 10/7/23 is 17:46!!!)
September 30, 2023. 3rd XC Race of the season. ran 18:35. A big PR from 19:02. My friend Jonathan took some cool pictures, you can find his instagram in my running section on my projects page.
November 4, 2023. Georgia State 6A Cross Country race. I ran 18:49 (I ran 20:50 last year, so good progress). My last ever XC race as Rockdale Bulldog. I've poured my heart and soul into this sport these last 3 years, and for it to be over for highschool is tough. I had so much fun today with my teammates. Looking forward to the future.
September 7, 2023. Me playing Paul David's 'Open D Tuning'/'Amber's Embrace' song. It is the hardest piece I've learned so far on guitar. You can find the link to the video on my projects page.

May 14, 2023. Colin and I were on a run, again, and it started pouring. We booked it back to the cars but we were drenched. First time running in the rain, very fun- maybe not for Colin...
June 8, 2023. Went on a youth retreat to Ellijay! I was baptized again!
